Forsey, Ciampagila named Sault College Freshii Athletes of the Week

Men's baseball player Matthew Forsey and men's soccer keeper Alessandro Ciampagila were named Sault College's Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 18, 2022. 

Forsey, a first-year pitcher from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., studying Sports Administration had an outstanding game against the Lambton Lions on Sunday afternoon, pitching a complete game shutout in the Cougars 2-0 victory. Forsey also had the only Cougars hit on Saturday against the St. Clair Saints.

Ciampagila, a first-year keeper from Richmond Hill, Ont., studying Sports Administration made countless saves against two offensively strong teams over the weekend. Ciampagila has been a leader both on and off the field for the Cougars since joining this season.
