Oldham, Brazeau named Sault College Freshii Athletes of the Week

Men's hockey player Russell Oldham and women's soccer player Brooke Brazeau were named Sault College's Freshii Athletes of the Week for the week ending October 9, 2022.

Oldham, a first-year forward from St. Thomas, Ont., studying Sports Administration, recorded one goal and three assists in the Cougars first win of the season against Lake Superior State University on Sunday afternoon. Oldham was also a key player on the penalty kill in the two game series.

Brazeau, a first-year defender from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., studying Nursing, has been a leader for the women's soccer team. Brazeau's strong work ethic and knowledge of the game has helped their team improve throughout the season.
